Lion Rajitha Rodrigo PMJF

Multiple Council Chairperson Rajitha Rodrigo, PMJF, is an accomplished professional, visionary leader, and dedicated Lion whose journey reflects excellence in education, leadership, family values, and humanitarian service.

Born and raised in Negombo, he received his education at Maris Stella College, Negombo, where he excelled academically, served as Deputy Head Prefect, and actively engaged in sports, especially football. These early experiences shaped him into a respected leader, administrator, motivator, mentor, and advocate of responsible citizenship.

Professionally, Lion Rajitha qualified as a Triple Chartered Accountant, holding memberships with CA Sri Lanka, CIMA UK, and CPA Australia. He began his career with Ernst & Young in Sri Lanka and Singapore in 2006, gaining valuable international exposure in auditing, finance, and business advisory services. In 2016, he joined W.R. Rodrigo & Partners, Chartered Accountants, as Managing Partner, continuing his family’s professional legacy with strategic leadership and excellence.

A committed member of the Lions Club of Kochchikade, Lion Rajitha served as Club President in 2017–2018 and later held key leadership positions including Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson, Vice District Governor, District Governor of District 306 B1, and Council Treasurer of Multiple District 306. He was unanimously elected Multiple Council Chairperson for 2026–2027.

A Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and Certified Guiding Lion, he is supported by his wife, First Lady Lion Natasha De Costa, and their three sons.
